How can we move towards living joyfully and with an open heart in today\u2019s world?<\/p>\n<p>Join us for a weekend of discovery where we will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Uncover the coping strategies and habits that keep us from living fully<\/li>\n<li>Learn how meditation links to joy<\/li>\n<li>Experience connecting with nature&#8217;s aliveness<\/li>\n<li>Experiment with play and movement to bring us into the present, into our bodies and connect us with others<\/li>\n<li>Acquire practices to invite joy into our lives<\/li>\n<li>The schedule will include meditation (with instruction), talks, dialogue, brief reflective writing, sensing our interconnection through metaphor, movement, play and meditative walking outdoors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The weekend meditation retreat will be led by <strong>Debbie McCubbin<\/strong> from Community Meditation, a non-profit in Canada, with additional offerings by Michelle King and Tricia Chirumbole.<br \/>\nSponsored by CommunityMeditation.net of Southern Ontario, Canada and The Aging as a Spiritual Practice Group of Pittsburgh, PA. Co-Sponsored by Chatham University Counseling Center and Awaken Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Cost:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The basic cost is $120. Lunch and coffee\/tea service are included in the fee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For low income or Chatham University staff and students, the cost is $60.
