Announcing Our New Online Awaken Practice Community

Would you like to have a way to refresh what you learned in Mindful Connections?

Could you use some support for your daily practice? Would you like to connect with like-minded people all on the path of meditation?

If you answered YES to any of these questions, then our new online community is the place for you! Mindful Community connections will offer you the support you need to keep up with your practice after your course and build a regular mindfulness routine. The best part is, you can access the content at any time! Each month, we’ll have a new theme that expands on our course topics. We’ll also have three ways to interact each week:

- On Mindful Mondays: we will explore how our theme relates to mindfulness.

- Wellness Wednesdays: will connect our theme to our health and wellbeing.

- Sitting Saturdays: We will come together in practice – twice a month this will include a live sit via zoom.

In the words of Dorothy Day, “We have all known the long loneliness and we have learned that the only solution is love and that love comes with community.” Awaken Pittsburgh is happy to offer this virtual home to bring us together to connect in practice, and support one another’s personal growth and transformation.

If you have participated in one of our programs, look for a way to sign up coming soon to your email inbox. Inspired by Earth Day, April’s theme will be interconnectedness. While you are waiting to join, you can start to contemplate interconnection with this beautiful quote by Nadeem Aslam:
"Pull a thread here and you’ll find it’s attached to the rest of the world."
