April 15th Day of Mindfulness
Awaken Pittsburgh is hosting this half day of Mindfulness practice from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. This is an opportunity to experience a range of practices, including sitting and walking meditation, a body scan, mindful eating, and personal reflection time.
This event will be held largely in silence, and led with minimal instruction, so we encourage some familiarity with mindfulness practice in advance.
We will provide chairs and a limited number of cushions and blankets. Feel free to bring any personalized meditation supports of your choosing. You are invited to bring snacks and drinks of your choice.
Lunch will be provided so that we can enjoy a mindful meal in silence together.
The suggested donation for this event is $25: more if you can support others, and less (or none) if that feel right for you. All are welcome.
